Jerk Chicken one of Jamaica most popular dishes in Jamaica. When the Maroon introduced African meat cooking technique to Jamaica. The word Jerk is a Spanish word that comes from a Peruvian word “Charqui” meaning dried strips of meat like what is know as jerky.
